Dr. Ahmad Tehrani
DDSDr. Ahmad Tehrani was raised in Texas attending University of Houston attaining a B.S. in Biology. He worked as a dental assistant before attending Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1986. Dr. Tehrani started practicing in Dallas ever since maintaining a practice dedicated to comprehensive restorative, cosmetics, family dentistry. Continuing education is an important part of what Dr. Tehrani brings to our practice. He very easily and regularly goes above and beyond the regular required amount of classes and hours that dentists are required to take. He attends 100+ hours of continuing education courses yearly. He has focused his continuing education on endodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry courses in prestigious universities and dental education centers around the country. He has attended Pankey Institute advanced dental education center in Florida. He is also a current member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. He has been married to his sweetheart and best friend for 30 years. He has two children, who graduated from Baylor University and University of Texas. When he’s not doing what he loves in the office, he spends his time reading, cycling and practicing Yoga daily. He enjoys fishing and camping and He is a proud care taker of his 2 Persian cats, Peeshy and Rumi. He stays involved in the community and enjoys practicing dentistry. Dr. Tehrani doesn’t look at dentistry as work, he looks forward coming into the office and taking care of the needs of each individual that comes into the practice. Dr. Tehrani is a pioneer microscopic dentistry and has used a surgical operating microscope in his office for over 10 years. An operating microscope allows better visualization and magnification for treating teeth. Perfect Smiles patients travel from around the world to receive treatment by Dr. Tehrani. “A perfect smile inside and out” is the creed he lives by every day.
