Dr. Kevin Lambert is a Texas licensed psychologist with a sincere passion for developing others and fostering healthier & happier relationships. Dr. Lambert’s unique style of intervention has been described by clients as genuine, warm, respectful, innovative, fun, enlightening, and appropriately challenging. Dr. Lambert’s clinical specialties include couples therapy; child & family therapy; personal & family life transitions (such as divorce & grief); identity & career development; and spirituality/faith issues. In addition to counseling, Dr. Lambert also enjoys providing executive & personal coaching, consultations, and a wide variety of dynamic workshops. Educational and Career Background Dr. Lambert’s interest in the field of psychology began at the young age of 12 and never wavered. At the age of 16, Dr. Lambert began his path towards counseling by becoming a Peer Educator for Planned Parenthood of Decatur, IL. Upon high school graduation, Dr. Lambert continued his pursuit of psychology at Illinois State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 1999. Dr. Lambert’s educational journey continued at Spalding University’s School of Professional Psychology, where he earned his M.A. & Psy.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology in 2003 & 2006. Dr. Lambert’s professional experience includes a pre-doctoral fellowship at Salesmanship Club Youth & Family Centers, Inc. (now known as Momentous Institute, Inc.), and an informal postdoctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University’s Memorial Health Center followed by nearly 10 years as a senior staff member & supervisor. In Fall 2011, Dr. Lambert completed his MBA degree from SMU’s Cox School of Business where he was recognized as a Distinguished Business Leader and member of the Dean’s Circle. In January 2012, Dr. Lambert founded Lambert Psychology, PLLC, which has evolved into what is now known as Great Life Counseling Center. In addition to working on the development of his own organization, Dr. Lambert volunteered to serve on the board of directors for Galaxy Counseling Center for 2 years (Aug. 2010-April 2012) and the executive committee of the Dallas Psychological Association for 4 years (June 2012-May 2016). In recognition of excellence in his contributions to the field of psychology in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dr. Lambert was awarded the 2023 Distinguished Psychologist of the Year by the Dallas Psychological Association.

Dr. Gabby Anderson, Ph.D. is a Texas licensed psychologist who provides a collaborative, supportive, and nurturing environment to help her clients address their challenges and enhance their capacity for healing. Dr. Anderson’s approach is grounded in the belief that our early experiences shape our relationships and sense of self, and that by exploring those experiences in an empathic environment, clients can gain insight into their behavior and interpersonal patterns, develop more fulfilling personal relationships, and move towards personal growth. With an emphasis on developing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance, Dr. Anderson incorporates psychodynamic, interpersonal, and family systems practices into all aspects of her work. Dr. Anderson provides individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for all ages. She is also passionate about conducting psychological evaluations with children/adolescents and has experience with cognitive, academic, personality, and mood concerns. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at University of Texas Health – San Antonio where she was part of the Child, Adolescent, and Family track and rotated at Clarity Child Guidance Center, providing child/adolescent and family therapy in an outpatient setting and conducting outpatient and inpatient psychological evaluations. Dr. Anderson has worked in various settings, including community mental health, college counseling centers, and private practice. Within these settings, she has provided individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, family therapy, group therapy, both brief and comprehensive cognitive, academic, and personality assessments, telehealth, and outreach programming. Mr. Tony Bowers, M.A. is a Marriage & Family Therapy Intern who enjoys creating environments conducive for his compassionate and client-centric approach to therapeutic progress. He is on mission to serve others by using his talent and skills to be a catalyst for health and well-being. Mr. Bowers genuinely believes in the value of relationships, which is why he is passionately pursuing the areas of family and couples therapy, personal and family transitions, and trauma/abuse issues for adults and young adults. Educational and Career Background Mr. Bowers completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He enjoyed a successful career as a corporate executive, which provided him daily opportunities to provide informal counseling, mentoring and coaching to demographically diverse teams. Through partnering with others, Mr. Bowers uniquely connects and compassionately influences the development of those he serves. Mr. Bowers is an active member of his church serving in several ministries relevant to his clinical profession, including: Couples Ministry, Overseer (Elder), Marriage Mentors and Couple Support Coordinator. He leads workshops for Marriage-Intensive weekends, and he and his wife currently lead a Small Group for couples. Mr. Bowers recently completed his Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Amberton University. Dr. Heidi Ellis, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate their mental health journeys. As a culturally minded therapist, Dr. Ellis values and respects all identities and strives to create a safe and inclusive space where every individual feels understood and supported. Dr. Ellis’ therapeutic style is characterized by high levels of warmth and collaboration, prioritizing safety and authenticity to create a unique and powerful client-therapist relationship. Through this relationship, self exploration, insight, and meaningful change can occur. Dr. Ellis primarily takes a relational psychodynamic approach in therapy, but continually assesses the needs of each unique individual/family and adapts her interventions and approaches to best fit her clients based on their preferences, personalities, and current psychological research. Dr. Ellis often incorporates evidence-based therapeutic strategies from relational-cultural theory, time-limited psychodynamic theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, and family systems. Educational and Career Background Dr. Ellis received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology with an emphasis in child and family psychology from the University of North Texas. Dr. Ellis has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient community mental health, college counseling, and private practice. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at John-Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Within these settings, she has provided group and individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she has conducted comprehensive psychological assessments both inpatient and outpatient for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Ellis’ research focuses on attachment theory and relational spirituality. Her master’s thesis specifically explored attachment to God, resilience, and posttraumatic growth, and her dissertation explored spiritual/religious abuse and trauma. She is passionate about understanding the positive and negative impacts one’s religious and spiritual identities, and emphasizes the importance of addressing and exploring these identities in therapy. Dr. Yafa Hill, Psy.D., MPH, is a postdoctoral fellow that believes in meeting clients where they are and building a foundation of trust through fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. Dr. Hill’s warm, relational approach, interest in exploring existential/faith issues, and great sense of humor facilitate a safe, welcoming space for each of her clients. Dr. Hill’s clinical specialties include: trauma informed care, adult and adolescent therapy, couple’s therapy, and faith/spirituality. She is also passionate about conducting psychological evaluations with adults and children/adolescents with an emphasis on cognitive, academic, personality, and mood concerns. Dr. Hill has experience with a variety of presenting concerns such as: PTSD, Bi-polar, anxiety, and depression. Educational and Career Background Dr. Hill received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Nebraska Mental Health Centers in Lincoln, NE, where she provided therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples in an outpatient setting and led a DBT skills group and a women’s trauma group. She also conducted psychological evaluations in an outpatient setting. Dr. Hill has worked in various settings including community mental health, private practice, probation facility, schools, and a hospital setting. Mr. Nagee Graves, M.A. is an LPC-A Fellow who is dedicated to expanding access to quality counseling and empowering clients to bridge the gap between mental health and emotional intelligence. With a passion for motivating youth, he focuses on fostering positive interactions that enhance well-being and academic success. Utilizing a client-centered approach, Mr. Graves emphasizes the significance of social connections in promoting mental health. By building strong therapeutic relationships, he facilitates a deeper dialogue that nurtures self-awareness and emotional growth. His expertise includes working with adolescents, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and navigating family systems. Mr. Graves is committed to uplifting youth through mentorship and community service. Educational and Career Background Mr. Graves earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Morehouse College and his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School (formerly The Chicago School of Professional Psychology). During his tenure at Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas, he served as a clinical intern and intake coordinator, providing adolescent & adult individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and co-leading small groups. His experience as a substitute teacher at Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy allowed him to mentor students and foster a supportive learning environment. Ms. Mycah Smith, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who aims to provide a supportive and collaborative experience for her clients. She is motivated to help her clients navigate the nuances and complexities of life with self-compassion and grit. Ms. Smith whole- heartedly values family and relationships and is determined to see them prosper. Ms. Smith’s approach to therapy is rooted in her belief that our perspective on life and relationships with others is based in what was modeled in our early life. Ms. Smith has been described by others as compassionate, energetic, determined and genuine. Educational and Career Background Ms. Smith completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Shortly after, Ms. Smith continued her education at Amberton University where she completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to practicing therapy, Ms. Smith had several years of experience in corporate America in multiple industries.
